Shea Socks It to Yankees, Cracks 5 Hits Friday, August 14th , 2026 P.J. Shea exploded for a barrage of base hits at Yankee Stadium. The Los Angeles right fielder had a field day in his team's 11-6 triumph over the New York Yankees, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Shea must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. P.J. Shea hit a solo-shot off Dennis Loiseau in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
