Fabela Sparkles in 6-0 Blanking of Detroit Tuesday, September 8th , 2026 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Detroit Tigers as starter Alex Fabela shut them out, 6-0, at Kauffman Stadium. The Kansas City pitcher struck out 9 and walked 1 while allowing 2 hits. "Fabela was good but he wasn't flawless," Detroit manager Ed Prudhomme said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Kansas City, but this is on us."
